I shake my head. “Nope,
doc tested me four times.”

He stares at me wide-eyed.
“That’s crazy.”

I shrug. “Yeah, well my
uncle is a shit.”
I love you too,
nephew.

He laughs and says, “I’m
glad though. Now, we can be a family without bringing anyone else
into it.”

I nod. “That’s the
idea.”

He sits down beside me,
strokes my cheek and says, “I love you.”

I kiss the palm of his
hand and smile. “I guess I love you too.”

He laughs.
“Asshole.”

Acknowledgements

I want to thank my parents
for supporting me no matter what I do and tolerating me when I get
in the zone of writing and ignore them completely. I want to thank
Lisa Oliver one of my favorite authors for encouraging me to write
the story speaking in my head instead of forcing myself to stick to
a different stereotype. I thank the readers for taking the time to
read a story from an unknown author like me. Last of all I want to
thank all the musicians out there for playing their music and
inspiring me. Also I want to thank Al Capone from the Untouchables
for that amazing line of craziness.

About the Author

I've had a
passion for writing since the eighth grade. The first story I ever
wrote I started then. I wrote it with input from a friend. It
started as a song, we were going to start a band but it ended up
turning into a book. I still have that notebook we wrote it in. I
admit the story was there but the writing itself wasn't very good.
It wasn't something I would publish. After I published my first
three novels under a different name, I went back to that first
story and rewrote the entire thing. I didn't change the characters,
but I adjusted the plot, it still ended the same but I just made it
better. It's finished now and I'll be publishing it
eventually.

I published my
first book three years ago and haven’t stopped writing since. I’m
single and live at home with my five dogs and my cat. I'm working
on multiple projects so I'll definitely be busy for a while. I'm
licensed in cosmetology but after working in a salon for a year and
writing on the side I realized it wasn't what I wanted to do with
my life. I'm looking forward to publishing more books and I hope to
have a best seller one day. That's every author's dream
right?
