Picking up her bags she walked to the Companies v
ehicle. Brianna and Connor no longer had use of it. She had already phoned ahead to drop it at a certain location not far from here, then she would pick up a hire car and see what life brings.

As she looked in the rear view mirror, the houses that she had called home for the past six weeks faded away and with that her chance at happiness. The woods were dark, only the slightest rays of moonlight filtered through and somewhere in there, her mate Connor was running with his pack.

A stray tear fell down her cheek as she turned onto the main road, her wolf howled in mourning for her mate she would never claim.
