Okay
then
I

ll
just
flat
out
ask
you.
Teddy

s
in
love
with
you.
Are
you
in
love
with
him?

Logic

.

No,
just
answer
the
question.

I
have
feelings
for
Teddy,
we

ve
grown
close.

Again,
it

s
a
simple
question,
so
there

s
a
very
simple
answer
to
the
question.
Are
you
in
love
with
Teddy?

Queen
hesitated
and
assessed
the
situation.
If
she
said
yes,
Logic
would
probably
walk
out.
If
she
said
no,
she

d
be
lying
to
Logic
and
herself.
So
she
opted
for
the
truth.

I
don

t
know.
But
I
don

t
love
him
enough
to
give
you
up.
I
do
know
that.

Logic
was
quiet
for
an
uncomfortably
long
time.
In
fact
Queen
was
certain
that
he
had
fallen
asleep,
though
she
dared
wake
him.
Finally
he
spoke.

Do
you
love
me
enough
to
give
him
up
to
marry
me?

Yes,
I
do.

she
conceded.

But,
do
you
still
want
to
marry
me?

Queen

s
voice
cracked
as
tears
swelled
in
eyes
and
a
large
lump
formed
in
her
throat.

You
know
I
do.

He
said
as
he
rubbed
the
small
of
her
back
to
comfort
her.

I
wouldn

t
be
here
if
I
didn

t.

Tears
burst
like
a
river
from
her
eyes.

I

m
so
sorry.
I
swear,
I

m
sorry
Logic.
I
don

t
know
why
I
kept
doing
it,
but
I
couldn

t
stop.

I
took
advantage
of
the
situation
and
I
…”

Come
on,
stop
crying.
We

re
okay.
We

ve
both
made
some
mistakes.
I
didn

t
do
everything
right
either.
We
just
need
to
figure
out
where
we
plan
to
go
from
here,
that

s
all.

He
said
as
he
wiped
the
steady
flow
of
tears
from
Queen

s
eyes.

Queen
heard
what
Logic
said,
but
didn

t
actually
say.
Truth
be
told
if
he
did
slip
and
fall
between
somebody

s
legs
then
she
had
no
one
to
blame
but
her
own
silly
ass
self.
So
she
did
the
only
thing
she
could
do
at
the
time,
ignore
the
statement
and
let
it
fly
by
unchallenged.
But
as
she
rested
her
head
on
his
chest
while
he
comforted
her
she
could
not
help
but
think,
who
could
it
have
been?
She
dared
not
ask
and
open
up
that
can
of
ugly,
smelly
worms.
She
quickly
dismissed
the
thought
and
allowed
the
gentle
stroke
of
his
giant
hands
to
soothe
her
into
a
comfortable
sleep.

Logic
lay
in
the
bed
holding
her
for
what
seemed
like
hours.
He
gently
stroked
her
partially
nude
body
and
admired
her
splendor.
There
was
no
doubt
about
it
he
was
absolutely
bananas
over
this
woman.
Just
as
he
began
to
drift
off
to
sleep
himself
Queen

s
phone
received
a
text,
the
sixth
one
within
the
hour.
Logic
picked
it
up
to
silence
the
ringer,
before
it
woke
her,
only
to
display
the
text
message
by
accident.

The
text
was
from
X.
It
read,

Been
trying
to
reach
you
all
day
can
I
see
you
tonight?

Puzzled,
Logic
looked
at
the
message
and
then
looked
at
Queen.

Oh
hell
no!
Who
the
fuck
is
this
nigga?

He
growled.

I
guess
there
is
only
one
way
to
find
out.

Logic
sent
a
reply
to
the
text,

Sorry,
I

ve
been
busy.

I

m
going
to
a
party
tonight.
Can
you
meet
me
there?

X
responded.

Sure.
When
and
where?

Logic
immediately
texted
back,

12250
Candlestick
Lane,
LA
at
10pm.

X
quickly
replied,

See
you
then.

Logic
smirked,

Oh
you
can
believe
that
shit
nigga!

He
looked
at
Queen
who
was
completely
knocked
out,
curled
up
in
the
fetal
position
like
a
baby
with
her
Binky
and
pacifier.
They
say
that
confession
is
good
for
the
soul.
Fessing
up
to
Logic
really
took
a
lot
of
guilt
and
shame
off
of
Queen.
Free
from
its
weight
she
could
finally
sleep
peacefully.
