Would the serum ever stop working? Those were things she should’ve
asked Ryvan in the beginning, but the price of traveling anywhere

go. We’re going together,” he said, and he turned her cheek toward
him and gave her a long satisfying kiss. He must’ve known what she
meant. That was a relief.

she said.
