“Morning, handsome,” she says against my mouth.

“Oi, none of that lovey-dovey shit in front of me,” Pops scolds, jokingly. “It’s too fucking early in the mornin’ for that crap. I haven’t even eaten yet.”

“You’re just jealous, old man,” I state.

“Fuck off,” he retorts and I laugh.

“Do you want me to fix you some coffee, Chase?” she asks.

“No, I can get my own. I don’t expect you to wait on us.”

“I told her the same thing,” Pops adds.

“I like looking after my boys,” she says sweetly. I look over at Pops and he’s beaming. I must admit I am too. I like how she referred to us as her boys. I wish Pops would find himself a lady friend, someone to look after him. I think my mum’s turned him off relationships forever.
Bitch.

After we eat, I help Angel clean up. She’s washing the dishes, and I’m drying. “You still up to coming to the family barbeque today?” I ask.

“I wouldn’t miss it,” she answers leaning over to kiss me. “I’m looking forward to meeting the rest of your family.”

“Just go in with an open mind,” I warn her.

“Stop worrying, Chase. I’m not judgemental. Never have been. If you like them, I’m sure I will too.”

“You’re pretty amazing, Miss. Cavanagh.”

“You’re pretty amazing too, Mr. Daniels,” she says bumping shoulders with me. “That’s one of the reasons why I love you so much.” Fuck, there’s that word again. I wish I could tell her I love her too, but for some reason I can’t seem to get the words out. Maybe because it’s something I’ve never said before. I’ve never been good at expressing my feelings.

Angel

Chase follows me back to my house so I can shower and change. I didn’t take any spare clothes with me yesterday. He wants to take his bike to the barbeque, so Pops has lent us an extra helmet to use for the day. Maybe turning up to a ‘bikie-do’ in an expensive European car is frowned upon, who knows. Either way, I’m looking forward to being on the back of that baby again.

I have ten voicemail messages when I get home. All are from my dad. I feel bad for him, but I’m still too angry to talk with him. Maybe this time he’ll finally get the message. He can’t control my love life. I’m an adult now for God’s sake. He needs to let go.

Even though Chase showered at his house before we left, he insists on having another one with me. “You’re going to need someone to scrub your back,” was his excuse. Doesn’t he realise he doesn’t need a reason? I love it when his hands are on me. I can’t seem to get enough of him. I love how connected I feel to him when we’re intimate.

Chase tells me not to overdress for the event. After all it’s only an outdoor barbeque, and he insists everyone will be dressed casual. I opt for a small faded denim skirt and a white off-the-shoulder, tight fitting top.

Putting on mascara and lip-gloss, I pull my hair back into a ponytail, and slip my feet into a white pair of flip-flops. He wanted casual, I’ll give him casual. The last thing I want is to stand out.

When I walk into the main room I find Chase sitting on the lounge waiting. I love the look of appreciation on his face as his eyes travel the length of my body. He’s up standing in front of me in a flash.

“Jesus. Your long legs in that tiny skirt are sexy as fuck,” he growls as he runs his hands over my outer thighs and under the hem, cupping my arse. “I’m not sure how I feel about the other guys being able to see them though.”

“Do you want me to change? I can put on a pair of jeans.”

“No. Don’t change. But, don’t be surprised if I lead you away from the others and take you up against the wall numerous times throughout the day.”

“Ohhhh. Well in that case, I’m definitely leaving the skirt on,” I say with a flirtatious smile, as I wrap my arms around his waist.

“You’re going to be the death of me, sweet-cheeks.”

CHAPTER TWENTY-THREE

Chase

I have a hard time concentrating on the road, with those sexy fucking legs of hers wrapped around mine. Every time we stop at a set of lights, I can’t help but run my hands up them. By the time we arrive at the clubhouse, my cock’s so hard it aches.

I help her off the bike, and I can see she’s somewhat anxious. “Are you sure I look okay?” she asks as she tugs at the hem of her skirt.

“You look beautiful, sweet-cheeks,” I tell her as I pull her against me. “Good enough to eat. I think I’m going to have to punch a few heads in today, you look that good.”

“Don’t you dare,” she scolds, as she playfully pinches my arse.

“You better stay by my side all day then.”

“I will,” she smiles. “Have I told you today how much I love you?” she asks leaning forward and brushing her lips against mine.

“Yes, when we were doing the dishes, but I don’t mind hearing it again.” That’s the truth. I never actually realised how much I’d like hearing someone say that to me, until she said it. I let go of her and reach for her hand. “Come meet my family.”

“Here they fuckin’ are,” Pops calls out as soon as we walk through the gate. A couple of the guys start laughing. He’s obviously been telling everyone I’m pussy whipped.
Fucker
.

I suppose it’s true. There’s nothing I wouldn’t do for
my
girl, or her heavenly pussy. I’m proud to have her on my arm; proud for the world to see she’s mine. Even though I still can’t believe she actually is.

Before I get a chance to lead her around and introduce her to everyone, Pops takes the honours. By the way he’s beaming as he does it, I can tell he’s just as proud she’s mine as I am.

“Sweet-thing’s studyin’ law like my boy. Two fuckin’ lawyers in the family. Never would’ve believed it, hey?” he chuckles. “She’s smart, pretty and can cook up a fuckin’ storm,” he brags. Jesus, it sounds like he’s already planning our wedding.

When I notice Angel blush, I decide to go and save her. What the hell has got into him? I’ve never seen him like this before. “Come, let’s go get a drink,” I tell her, grabbing her hand and leading her away. “I’m sorry about that.”

“Sorry about what?”

“About Pops. Never seen him like that before,” I chuckle.

“Don’t be sorry. It’s sweet. I’m glad he’s happy we’re together.”

“Well if it gets too much, let me know and I’ll tell him to pull his head in.”

“Don’t you even think about it,” she threatens.

After we have drinks in hand, I lead her back over to the group and finish the introductions, before settling down in a seat. Angel goes to sit beside me, but I pull her onto my lap instead.

I’ve noticed a few of the guys giving her the once over. I want to make it known she’s mine. Hands fucking off. When she wiggles her sweet little arse in my lap to get comfy, I groan. Having her on my lap in public, with that sexy as fuck skirt on, is a bad idea.

Being the new kid on the block, so to speak, it doesn’t take long for the questions to start rollin’ in. Angel takes it all in her stride, answering everything that’s asked. I love how well she’s fitting in with my mob. I don’t know why I was so worried that this could freak her out, or turn her off. The way she’s been with Pops should’ve been enough to tell me she’s not that kind of person.

She’s both funny and charming and has them all eating out of her hand. I’m proud of her. This bunch can be daunting sometimes, especially to an outsider. But, she’s taking it all in her stride, like a real champ.

A while later when some of the women get up to go and get the food ready, Angel offers to help out. “You don’t have to do that,” I state. “You’re our guest today.”

“Don’t be silly,” she says. “I want to help.” Her comment makes me smile. My eyes follow her as she walks up to the house, laughing and talking with the others. Fuck, that wiggle in her arse has my dick wanting her again. After we eat I’m going to have to sneak her off somewhere private.

When she’s out of sight, I get up and go over to Pops. “Where’s your girl?” is the first thing he says when I reach him.

“Helping the women get the food ready.”

“She’s a fuckin’ gem that one,” he says.

“I know.”

“So, that fucker Benson been leaving her alone? I’ve got one of the boys tailing him and another keeping an eye on her place.”

“Yeah, he hasn’t been back. I’m sure we haven’t heard the last of him though,” I admit. He’s not going to let this lie. I know it.

“Well he won’t know what fuckin’ hit him if he goes near her again. You can count on that, son.” I love how he feels as passionate about protecting her as I do.

Angel

I’m having a great time. Everybody has been so welcoming. I don’t know why, but I didn’t expect them all to be so friendly. They’re definitely not the kind of crowd I’m used to, but I love how down to earth and open they are. I can see why Chase and Pops love them so much. They all seem very tightknit.

As I help by placing some fried chicken onto a serving tray, I feel my phone vibrate in my back pocket. Pulling it out, I see it’s my dad calling again. Ignoring it, I put my phone away. Tears burn my eyes. I feel bad, but I’m still not ready to talk to him. He could’ve blown everything between Chase and I. I’m just glad he was so understanding about the way dad treated him.

A few minutes later I pull my phone back out and shoot a quick text to my mum, letting her know I’m okay, but to tell daddy to stop calling me. I think it’ll be easy on us both if he just gives me some time to come around. Dad and I have always been close, but he needs to know what he did was wrong. His actions were totally uncalled for. Ignoring him for a while maybe the only way I can get through to him.

My phone buzzes again. I pull it out of my pocket and see my mum has replied to my text.

I understand you’re upset sweetie, but he’s devastated you’re not talking to him. He’s been really down since yesterday. He won’t even eat. I hope you can find it in your heart to talk to him soon. I know what he did was wrong and I’m not taking sides. You have every right to be angry. Believe me, I’m not happy about this either. I really like Chase. He’s good for you. I told your father that too, but it hurts me to see him like this. You know how much he loves his little girl. Call me tonight if you can. Love mum. xoxo

The tears are already welling in my eyes as I read her reply. I quickly stop what I’m doing and leave the kitchen. I quietly sneak out the back door, down the side of the house, wiping my eyes with the back of my hand as I go. I don’t want the others to see I’m upset. Thankfully they’re all busy with the food prep, they don’t notice me leave.

I rest my forehead up against the house and let the tears fall. I never thought my relationship with my father would be strained like this, but I love Chase and I’m not going to stand by and let him ruin this for me.

“Hey, what are you doing around…what the fuck, are you crying?” Chase asks rushing towards me, spinning me around and wrapping me in his big, strong, comforting arms. “Did the girls say something to upset you?”

“No,” I reply as I wipe my eyes. I didn’t want him to see me like this.

“What’s wrong then, sweet-cheeks?” he asks concerned as he cups my face in his hands.

“It’s nothing, really. I’m just being silly.”

“Bullshit,” he says as his eyebrows furrow. I don’t want him to think these tears have anything to do with him, or his family.

“I just got a message from my mum which upset me. No big deal.”

“Oh,” he says as worry crosses his handsome face. “Does it have something to do with what happened with your father?”

“Yes.”

“Do your parents want you to stop seeing me?”

“No.” I feel bad he thinks my mum would be in on something like that. She loves Chase. I pull out my phone and let him read the message. Maybe it’ll ease his mind some.

I see a small smile cross his face when he reads the part about him. “Did I tell you how much I like your mum?” he asks.

“Yeah, she’s pretty cool. So is my dad when he’s not interfering in my love life.”

“I hate how us being together is coming between the relationship you have with him. That’s the last thing I want.”

“Well it’s not your problem, or mine. It’s his. I’m not going to let him pull us apart, Chase.”

“I’m happy to hear that,” he says as he wipes away one of my stray tears with his thumb. “I don’t want to lose you.”

I fist my hand in the front of his shirt, pulling his lips towards me. I don’t want to lose him either. “I love you,” I whisper against his mouth. “I won’t let that happen.”

He backs me up against the side of the house, wrapping my ponytail around his wrist, pulling on it gently to tilt my head back so he can deepen the kiss. “I don’t think I’ll ever get my fill of you,” he groans into my mouth. I don’t think I’ll ever get enough of him either.

Thankfully, our kiss is interrupted when someone calls out, “Dinner’s ready.” As much as I want him right now, I don’t like the thought of having sex here, where anyone can catch us.

Chase pulls out of the kiss, leaning his forehead against mine he groans. “Fuck, I want you so bad right now,” he says as his hand slides down and cups my arse. “This tiny skirt is driving me crazy.”

“I want you too,” I tell him honestly, “but not here.” He exhales loudly.

“Come. Let’s go eat,” he says reaching for my hand.

Chase

She’s right. Here’s not a good place. It would only be a matter of time before Pops came looking for us. I’d hate to put her in that position. I’m going to have her before the day’s out; you can count on that. I just need to find a place more secluded.

After we eat, we sit around talking with the others. Angel seems to fit in perfectly with my family. Words cannot express how happy I am to have her here with me. If only there was a way for me to make her father come around. It upset me to see her crying earlier. I hated the fact that us being together had something to do with that.

“Can you show me where the bathroom is? I need to pee,” she turns and whispers in my ear. I place my hands on her hips and lift her off my lap so I can stand.

“Come,” I say as I lead her up to the house.

I wait outside while she does her business, all the while concocting my plan. I can’t wait another second to have her. “You can wash your hands in here,” I tell her once she’s out, pointing to the bathroom next door.

I follow her in, closing the door behind us, turning the lock. “What are you doing?” she asks as she looks at me through the mirror while rinsing her hands under the water. I give her a devious smile.

I walk up behind her, encircling my arms around her waist, pulling her sexy little arse against my already growing cock. “I need you,” is all I say, as I drop to my knees behind her. I run my tongue up the back of her leg as I lift her skirt and bunch it around her waist. “Fuck, I love your arse.” I lightly bite it through her sexy as fuck white lace panties.

“Chase,” she moans as my hand moves between her legs and my fingers circle her clit. After giving her a small tease, I slide her panties down her long, gorgeous legs, bunching them up and shoving them into my pocket when I’m done. I slowly slide my hands back up the inside of her legs. She tilts her head back and moans when I slip a finger inside her heavenly pussy. I can’t stop the groan that comes from me when I feel how wet and ready she is.

I stand, looking at her beautiful face in the mirror as I slide the finger which was inside her, into my mouth. “I’m gonna fuck you now,” I tell her as I remove my finger out with a pop.

“Okay,” she breathes as the corners of her lips turn up in a smile. I retrieve a rubber from my pocket before undoing the buttons on my jeans and pushing them down so they pool around my ankles.

“Put your hands on either side of the basin,” I order as I roll it on, “and hold on tight.” She nods her head in agreement and does what I ask. “Spread your legs wider.” Again she obeys. I slide my hand around her waist, pulling her arse towards me, splaying my other hand on her back, bending her over from the waist.
