“Abbey!” Hunter called to her firmly, increasing the firmness with which he held her in his arms.

“Honey, wake up,” Clay urged, nuzzling against the side of her neck and running his hand down her arm to grip her hand tightly within his. “You’re safe, baby. You’re with me and Hunter.”

Abbey turned toward him, opening her eyes and searching for the truth of where she was. Her chest was heaving as she fought to catch her breath and calm herself. She knew she had to be showing the panic in her eyes as she looked at the gentle man who had loved her silly just hours before.

Reaching up, she touched his cheek lightly before turning her face toward Hunter, melting at the concern she saw staring back at her. His beautiful brown eyes were filled with worry. She reached up and touched his jaw gently before pulling away and covering her face with both of her hands, giving in to the torrent of tears she had been holding back for the past five months.

She cried until she was weak, allowing the men who were now her mates to soothe her with their hands and with their gentle words of comfort. She had absolutely no strength as her emotions drained every bit of power from her. She couldn’t have protected herself now if the damn roof was caving in.

“You don’t have to protect yourself, Mate,” Hunter whispered as he kissed her hand before tugging it gently and placing it over his heart. “You have two mates who will always protect you from now on.”

“What you just dreamed will never come true, baby,” Clay told her, emotions making his voice rough. “You’re our mate, and you’ll be with us forever. The children we have will belong to us, and we will make those children because we choose to have them. They will be the result of the love we have for each other and the decision we will come to together to create each one.”

Abbey looked at him and smiled, wiping at her eyes to push away her tears. She was still trembling from the dream. She didn’t think she would ever get over the fear and revulsion she felt when she thought about the way Peter had treated her. Except for her father, she never had reason to trust any man—until now.

Clay and Hunter soothed her. They calmed her. They wrapped her in a cocoon of protection and warmth, and she could feel the deep caring they already had for her. Was it love? She wasn’t sure, but she was pretty close to feeling that foreign emotion for each of them.

“We do love you, sweetheart,” Hunter told her softly, leaning down to press his lips against hers, and coaxed her to accept him. He growled softly when she responded to his kiss and opened to him, sucking on his tongue as he explored the sweet recesses of her mouth. When he ended the kiss and pulled back to look down at her, he was glad to see that she was calm and smiling up at him.

“You can’t love me,” she told him calmly. “You barely know me.”

“You’re wrong, honey,” Clay spoke up, leaning in and biting down on his mating mark that graced the creamy skin of her right shoulder. “In the shifter world, love comes quickly. Your scent connects us at first then the visions strengthen the bond. Once the claiming occurs, the mating triad knows every bit of their mate’s personality, their cares, their desires, and their fears.”

Hunter laved at his mating mark on Abbey’s left shoulder. “You’re a kind person, Mate. We’ve been given the insight into your soul and know that you’re fiercely loyal to your father, your friends, and the people who work for you. We’ve seen the open love in your heart, and we’re blessed to have you share that love with us.”

“I didn’t say I loved you,” Abbey told him firmly, still trying that last little bit to protect herself from the hurt that might be coming her way when these two wonderful men found someone more to their liking, and she was pushed aside.

Clay’s immediate growls were joined by Hunter’s as both men were privy to her thoughts. They covered her body with theirs, taking her hands and pinning them on either side of her head.

“There is no other woman we want, Abigail,” Hunter told her, growling as he leaned forward and bit down on her throat to hold her in position and demand that she submit to him.

“You don’t know that,” Abbey whispered, trying with all her might not to let them sense her worries.

“The hell we don’t,” Clay told her angrily. “We are wolf. You’re our mate. We will never want anyone but you. End of discussion.”

Leaning forward, his canines descended and he struck without hesitation, biting down on her shoulder to re-claim her. Abbey moaned as she experienced a mind-numbing orgasm. Gripping both men’s hands in hers, she panted through her release. The orgasm hadn’t even started to abate when Hunter released his hold on her neck and struck at her left shoulder, claiming her once again and sending her into another orgasm that sucked the energy from her and sent her into complete oblivion. The charged explosion ran through her body as she floated into some place she was going to have to label
Orgasm Central
if these men continued to send her there with their touches.

When she came back to her senses, she was sprawled across Clay’s chest and straddling his hips. She looked up at him with complete calm.

“Hi, Clay,” she whispered.

The immediate smile that crossed his lips and the definite twinkle in his blue eyes showed her how much he enjoyed her being exactly where she was. She could feel his hard shaft trapped between their bodies and panted softly as she thought about where she wanted him to put it.

“Where, honey?” he asked, winking at her.

“Inside of me,” she whispered, winking back at him.

“You’re going to have to help me, Mate,” he told her. “I’m not letting go of you. Neither one of us will ever let go of you.”

Abbey smiled softly, knowing he was talking about committing themselves to her for the rest of their lives. She liked that. She still may be hesitant to believe it, but she liked it.

Reaching between them, she took his hard shaft in hand and tipped it straight up as she moved her body to place it at the entrance to her channel. She was a little embarrassed to find that fluid was already dripping down her inner thighs but was thankful for the natural lubricant that would ease his passage inside of her.

“Don’t be embarrassed that your body is ready for me,” Clay told her, moaning as she lowered herself onto his cock and took him deep within her body. He held her hips tightly and reveled in the feeling of being inside their mate.

“Do you know how much it turns us on that you desire us, Mate?” Hunter asked her as he leaned against her back, pushing her so that she lay flush against Clay’s chest. “We thank the Fates every day that you were gifted to us. You’re ours, sweetheart. You’re our mate, and you’re our life. We just hope that someday you’ll feel the same about us.”

Abbey couldn’t say a word. She could feel the emotions both men were feeling for her. There was not one bit of truth that was hidden from her.

This mating bond thing is absolutely amazing.

Yes, it is,
Hunter’s voice whispered gently.
I’m glad we have it with you, Abbey.

To have you always in our hearts and hear you in our minds is a gift we’re thankful to have with you, honey,
Clay added, kissing her temple gently as he tightened his arms around her and drew her tighter against him.

Abbey relaxed completely as both men held her comfortably between them. She loved knowing that the men wanted her not only as a partner but also as a friend, a confidant, and a lover. She could feel their need to protect her. She could also feel their need to experience her soothing nature and her love. They wanted her, they needed her, and they loved her. She had no doubt in her mind anymore. She could feel the truth of their desires.

“Hunter?” she whispered, reaching back to grab his hand and pull it tightly against her chest.

“What, baby?”

“I can feel everything the two of you are feeling.”

“That’s good, sweetheart,” he told her gently. He kissed her back lightly, nuzzling against her and breathing in the scent of her. “Your scent has already changed, Abbey.”

“Changed how?”

“You smell like me and Clay. No one will every question that you belong to us.”

“Hey! Do you both smell like me now?” she asked, not liking that it was one-sided.

Clay chuckled and pushed up into her further, drawing a moan from her before she looked at him angrily.

“Don’t try and distract me,” she demanded, reaching up and taking a fistful of his hair in her hand and tugging on it.

He growled his approval. “Baby, both Hunter and I do carry your scent now,” he told her. “The three of us belong to each other, and we now carry the combined scents of all of us.”

“Okay then,” Abbey answered, satisfied. She released her tight hold on Clay’s hair as she was pacified by his words, but she didn’t let go of him. She needed the connection. She needed to stake her claim on him.

“Pretty soon, your scent will change again, sweetheart,” Hunter told her as his fingers pushed lube deep within her body, adding fingers as her body stretched to accommodate him.

Abbey moaned at the added pressure but concentrated on the beautiful flower garden, fountain, and waterfall to reach that place inside of her that was peaceful and caused her body to relax and open to the man who was taking great care to prepare her. She rubbed her face against Clay’s chest, breathing in the scent of him and licking at the brown disc of his nipple before latching on and sucking it gently into her mouth.

“Your scent will change when our cub is growing inside of you,” Hunter told her as he removed his fingers and pressed his cock alongside Clay’s, pushing firmly without stopping until he was fully seated inside of their mate.

The way her body relaxed and accepted him made his heart soar with happiness. She wanted him. She wanted Clay. There was nothing more rewarding than having the woman that they already loved want them as much as they wanted her.

“We can talk about that after,” Abbey whispered, pushing herself up on her hands as she started to cant her hips and take her men deeper inside of her.

“What, honey?” Clay asked as a moan was ripped from him when Abbey pressed down and their cocks were imbedded deeply within her.

“About our baby,” she told them through gritted teeth. “Shush now! And love me.”

“Baby, we do,” Hunter told her as he dragged his cock from her pussy and pressed back inside of her. “By the Fates, I love the sounds you make when we love you, Mate.” He couldn’t prevent the growls of desire that left him as he heard the sounds of Abbey’s excitement as he and Clay worked together to push their beautiful mate toward another climax.

The keening sound coming from Abbey would have embarrassed her if she wasn’t having such a wonderful time making love to these two men. Her men. They belonged to her. She valued their kindness, their understanding, and their love. She made a decision at that moment. She was not going to give them up. Ever.

Chapter 12

Abbey sat at the small table in the hotel room, her laptop opened in front of her. She was concentrating on the multitude of e-mails that needed her attention. There were several messages from various employees from every sister company that existed under the umbrella of Tyler Industries. She answered each message decisively. Her education and her experience training with her father within his company had given her the strength, the understanding, and the decision-making capabilities to make quick, efficient choices to guide each branch of the company with the directions they needed to run their businesses effectively.

Not one employee that she had been dealing with over the past week had any idea that she was not at the main building of Tyler Industries, and she fully intended to keep it that way. She was glad to realize that she could conduct whatever business she needed to deal with without having to be at the office. It was something she secretly craved.

Only Synthia and Shelly knew of her plan to remotely run the company with only the occasional appearance at the office at meetings that left her no other choice but to attend. She wanted to be able to stay home. Where that home would be, she hadn’t decided, but she was determined to experience the world outside of Tyler Industries just as her father had encouraged her to do.

Her father had wanted her to have a life, a family, and a home that would nourish the love that Abbey had inside of her. He knew she needed to share that love, and he had often told her he wanted her to know the joy of having a family just as he had. Nothing was more important than family.

“Are you too busy to stop for a minute, Abbey?” Hunter asked her as he knelt down beside the wooden chair she was sitting on.

Abbey pulled her hands away from the keyboard, sat back in the chair and turned to smile at him. Reaching up, she touched his cheek gently, loving when he nuzzled into her open palm and growled softly.

“I’m never too busy for you and Clay,” Abbey told him, chuckling softly when Clay immediately took his place on the other side of her chair and leaned in to nuzzle against her neck and lightly bite down on her shoulder. “If you keep that up, Clayton Forest, I’m going to drag you back to bed and have my way with you,” she warned him.

“Promise?” Clay whispered, kissing her neck and wrapping his arms around her waist to hug her tightly.

“Do you have any pain, sweetheart?” Hunter asked her, his soft, brown eyes searching her face for answers.
