He kissed her one last time before he flipped her over and dragged her to the edge of the bed. He stood over her and thrusted into her deep and hard. She closed her eyes as he crashed into her world of desire and passion. He ravished her as she screamed his name. He melted into her as she climaxed, carrying him with her in a wave of passion. Her body fell limp and relaxed as he pushed her up on the satin sheets and
gathered her into his arms to hold her. They were both spent and peaceful as her mind drifted away. She smiled and closed her eyes, clinging to him as their bodies intertwined.

They met several times a month at the château for months; then one day he looked deep into her eyes. “There is something I need to tell you,” Deacon hesitantly whispered as he brushed her hair away from her face and kissed her lightly.

London could sense the seriousness of his tone and felt her throat tighten.

“I have been given a wonderful opportunity. I have been made a partner in the law firm where I work. I am required to move to England and will be leaving next week. I was going to tell you when I got here, but when I see you, I forget everything else, and, really, this worked out better.”

Worked out better?
she thought, a tear already forming in her eyes.

She rubbed it away before looking up at him. She wanted to be okay with this, but she just had a sinking feeling.

He held her close and continued, “You're so special, sweetie. Never forget that. We can email and IM each other and visit by webcam. I don't want to lose you again.”

“I don't want to lose you either. This webcam thing sounds like fun,” she said, trying to lighten up her own mood. “I think we could get really creative with that. We will just have to see how it goes. You're special to me and I cherish these moments.”

London stayed wrapped in his arms for as long as she could, until he finally had to go. She didn't get up to walk him to the door. It was all she could do to watch him leave before she buried her face in her pillow. He was gone, it seemed as quickly as he appeared, and her grandmother's words again appeared in her mind.
Real love never leaves
. She smiled, feeling he would be back.

Chapter 2
A SUNTANNED BEACH SNACK

M
emorial Day weekend plans included going to decorate her parents' and grandmother's graves. Then she would celebrate. London was feeling flirtatious and in need of a suntan, so what better place to go than to the beach so she could enjoy people and water. She threw on the racy black string bikini that accentuated her small waist and firm breasts and added a black sheer sarong, covering it all with a patio dress proper for the cemetery. She placed flowers on the grave sites as she reflected on the day she was told about the car accident that took her parents and led to her moving in with Grams. She felt grateful that her great loss was balanced by great blessings in the aftermath. She knew she had been loved, at least by her grandmother, and dedicated herself to embracing a spirit of joy. Alone or not, she was off to frolic on the beach.

The white sandy beach at Greenwich Point, also known as Tod's Point Beach, in Old Greenwich, Connecticut, was a popular spot among the young. The half-hour drive in her convertible Beemer felt great, clearing her mind so she was ready for lying out on the beach and slathering on suntan oil and sunscreen—for soaking up some rays. She found a spot that
had just enough people around to make it interesting, not too many, though, to disturb her peace. The breeze was soothing, and the sound of the waves surging against the shoreline was invigorating. The afternoon quickly passed as she enjoyed watching a game of beach volleyball. Hunks with chiseled muscle and tanned skin were running everywhere around her, bending over and picking up the ball for another shot. An occasional ball came her way, allowing her to engage with other beach lovers.

One dark-haired guy in white shorts came so close to her and looked so good that he actually made her sex tingle.
I could pull him over and take him right here
. She giggled to herself. She lowered her dark shades and drank him in, smiling as he retrieved the ball beside her. He had olive skin, and although his eyes were hidden by sunglasses, she was sure they were the type she loved . . . dark and mysterious, with eyebrows close set to his deep-set eyes, just like Deacon's. His muscular chest glistened like golden hills in the sunset. She was mesmerized as she watched his toned muscles flexing, filling her imagination with wild desires.

She put her sunglasses back on as well as her headphones. She pretended to ignore him as “Rude Boy” by Rihanna resonated in her ears. She couldn't take her eyes off of him, but he never even looked her way! She thought this captivating college boy was too young for her, so she disregarded him and picked up her book to read. She tried to focus, but the distraction was simply too much. She couldn't take her mind off his beautiful body for long. Peeking over her book, she studied his physique once more, tingling again and just wanting to grab, perhaps a part of him.

Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to come to the beach today
, she thought in retrospect. After all, a private pool may have offered a more inviting atmosphere. She wasn't used to having a guy
ignore her and it made her feel old and invisible. She decided to leave. She got up, grabbed her chair, towel, and beach bag, slipped on her flip flops and headed for the car. Then a hand from behind touched her shoulder. She felt like she'd been hit by lightning. She turned around, and it was him, her appetizing college boy. He had removed his shades and his eyes were even better than she'd imagined. They were the darkest brown eyes she'd ever seen and she wanted to surrender to them. She coyly looked up at him. “Hello.” Her voice quivered.

“You dropped your book,” he said, handing it to her with a grin.

Her cheeks flushed as she tilted her head and meekly replied, “Thank you.” She reached for the book, but he didn't let it go.

“And you forgot me too,” he said. He took the chair from her hand and walked her to the car. He opened the door for her and bent down to kiss her so she offered her cheek. “I'd love to see you sometime. My name's Todd.”

“It's nice to meet you, I'm London. What a coincidence, meeting Todd at Tod's Point Beach.” She was surprised at her own quavering voice. “Sure,” she responded, extending her hand. “When?”

Her stomach clenched as he captured her in a steamy gaze. “Well, I'm free right now if you're not busy?”

“I'm famished,” London said as she regained her composure. “I'm just going home to change and eat dinner if you'd care to join me?”

“Sure, I'll follow you. He paused for a second and looked down at himself as if to remember. “I'm all sandy from the beach, though.”

She smiled. “You can shower at my place.”

He climbed into a 1953 red Corvette, lowered the white
convertible top, and fell in line behind her. London studied him in the rearview, remembering when Deacon had followed her home. Her heart fluttered, but she shook off Deacon's image and diverted her attention back to Todd. He was gorgeous, the wind whipping through his dark hair. A feeling of insatiability increased between her legs. As they approached the estate, she pushed the button to open the gates.

Todd followed her through the entrance and down the driveway to the back of the house. She got out of her car and he followed her up the steps to the door as he took in the manicured grounds of the Château d'Amour.

“Wow, this really is some place! It's beautiful,” he said.

“Thanks. I love it here. You'll find a bathroom downstairs. I'll wait up here for you. I hope you like grilled ham and cheese sandwiches.” She smiled as she pointed toward the stairway.

He grinned and followed her directions. She went to the kitchen and organized the food. Moments later, she felt a hand on her back. She jumped, startled, and then smiled as she was assured that the hand belonged to Todd. Her body quivered as she felt his face alongside hers, his breath hot on her neck, and heard him whisper, “Come join me.” His hands traveled down to her butt, lifting it up toward him, causing a wonderful sexual sensation between her legs. She turned toward him and he grabbed her behind her neck, placing his lips hard on hers.

His hands cupped her face, kissing her deeper and stronger than the first time as she stepped in closer to him. “There's more room in my upstairs shower.” He went downstairs first to shut off the water, then he ran back and stroked his finger up and down the back of her thighs as they walked up the stairs.

They entered her bathroom, a chamber of Italian marble, adorned with fine gold-toned fixtures that accented the
walk-in shower. Stopping at the shower door, he kissed her shoulders and turned her around, moving to her face and neck, all the while undoing her top. He let it fall to the floor and proceeded to tug the string to release her bikini bottom from her hips. He reached to turn on the water and twenty-four jets shot across the shower stall. He felt the temperature and adjusted it to warm.

She watched him and grew more aroused as the steam rose and his gaze turned more aggressive. He kissed her as his hands cupped her breasts. He pulled her to him, holding her tight, his lips pressing down on hers in a passionate kiss. His tongue teased hers as they both entered the mist together. He took the perfumed bath oil from the shelf, poured it on the natural sponge, and started to rub her with it. The loofah was rough on her sun-kissed skin, but the sensation awakened her pores and her senses.

He slowly rubbed her body with the soapy sponge. He held her steady with one hand while washing and caressing her breasts with the other. As the lather foamed, the sensual fragrance fueled her desire. She placed her hands on his chest, moving them in circles and marveling at how firm and smooth he was. He fondled her breasts, as their tongues played tag with each other. She felt her breasts swell at his touch. His fingers slowly trailed down her body as he let his nails touch her skin. She trembled.

She savored his patience and finesse—
not bad for a young guy
, she thought. Finally his fingers touched her spot. She gasped as she opened her legs. Her arousal zone swelled at his touch. She arched her body as he teased her, moving toward his hand and begging for more. She wanted his fingers inside her, but held back from saying so.

Finally, in one swift motion, he grabbed her legs, hoisted
her with ease, pressed her against the shower wall, and entered her hard. She was enthralled by his strength and lovemaking talents. She wrapped her arms around his broad shoulders, with one hand entwined in his thick, dark hair, and the other on his back, clinging to his flesh with her fingernails. He slammed in and out then he slowed to prolong the ecstasy. As he did, she moaned and bit at his ear, his neck, his shoulder, enticing him to continue.

She loved the way he felt inside of her, so full and satisfying. With her eyes closed, he could have been Deacon for a moment. Todd resumed his aggressive pace again, bringing her back to reality, pounding into her with amazing force as her nails dug deeper into his back. Her eyes met his, and they came together, melting into each other as the mist consumed them.

Her head fell on his shoulder as he turned off the water, still embracing her. He opened the door and eased her down to stand before him. He grabbed her robe, draped it around her shoulders, and helped himself to a robe as they walked lazily to her bedroom. He pulled back the cream satin comforter and laid her down. He then slid in next to her and held her close as they both nodded off.

London awoke in Todd's embrace, surprised to find that they both had drifted off to sleep. He stirred, pressing his body to hers, and she could feel his maleness throbbing against her behind, hungry for more. He kissed her ear then sat up, resting on his elbow, and rubbed her body with his artistic fingers, circling her nipples till they were all hard and pointed. Then he placed his warm lips on them and sucked them while his hand moved down toward her wetness. He touched her there, rubbing her button with his thumb while his other fingers went in her slow and deep.

“You're ready for me again, aren't you?” he asked. She moaned, kissing him with her warm, soft lips, their tongues playing tag with each other. Part of her wanted him so badly, yet she stopped. She slipped out of bed and walked over to the fireplace. She lit it to warm the chill in the air. The weather had taken a cool dip at the end of the day. She proceeded to light some candles and kept studying him as she moved across the room.

They lay together in front of the fire and talked. He confirmed that he was younger than her, and then told her how he preferred mature women. He'd had enough of the fluttery girls. He wanted someone more stable. “You know, as soon as I saw you I wanted you, but was afraid that you would not want me.” He looked over at her and liked her hair, still damp, cascading across the satin pillow, her face glimmering in the candlelight. She was incredible to him and he began to wish he wasn't attending a school so far away and that he didn't have to tell her that he'd soon be gone.

Chapter 3
JULY FOURTH HOT BUFFET

L
ondon took Todd's news—that distance would keep them from continuing—in stride. Pleasure without pressure, she reminded herself. He had been there when she needed. She'd move on to the next one or the next thing. She longed for Deacon and logged on to the internet, hoping to connect with him, but had to settle for interesting conversations with other online friends since Deacon was too busy to chat. The others would tantalize her with sexy, suggestive remarks, but they only made her crave Deacon even more. She longed for his touch and especially his warm kisses.

She heard a video call chime in over her laptop, just as she was daydreaming about him. Deacon! She quickly checked her own image on the screen, fluffing her hair and pursing her lips before clicking to answer his call. She melted at the sight of him, lounging in his black leather chair, smiling back at her. Behind him, she could see glossy teakwood office furniture and a breathtaking view of the cityscape through the wall-to-wall windows of his corner office in Europe. He wore a white silk shirt and black tie. She wanted to reach right through the computer and grab him in a delicious embrace.
