The walls seemed to close in on him, and Sebastian made up his mind. Unconventional or not, he had to take his leave. He shouldered his way through the laughing throng awaiting the unmasking, past the footmen standing sentinel at the entrance to the ballroom and rushed out the stately oak front door, down the steps and out into the moonless night.

For a moment, it was all Sebastian could do to stand gasping on the pavement outside, bent at the waist and near-sobbing at his relief to feel the cool night air on his overheated skin. He could almost feel, still, the stranger’s arm around him, cock thrust deep in his most secret place.

The approaching clatter of hooves made him jump back from the street, afraid of being run down. An old-fashioned town-carriage with an unfamiliar crest on the door swerved as it rounded the corner, its team of matched black horses plunging in their traces as it lurched to a stop.

The driver did not turn but the coach door opened from the inside, and a man leapt to the ground.

“My lord duke.” The gentleman bowed in a swirl of black silk.

Sebastian stared. That voice...

“Sir,” he began tremulously, “I fear you have the better of me.” He shot a glance over his shoulder, wondering if they were observed. Part of him wanted to turn and run, but a much greater longing kept his feet rooted to the spot. He couldn’t help but notice the man’s strong shoulders, intense dark eyes and square, determined jaw.

“Lord Donahue, at your service.” The stranger stepped close to Sebastian, far closer than etiquette allowed. Sebastian held his breath, every nerve ending aware of the closeness, certain now that that voice, those eyes belonged to his mysterious companion from earlier in the evening.

“If you are anything like me,” Donahue said more softly, “you are finding the game to have left you... spent, if not exhausted outright. Might I offer you my carriage?”

Sebastian felt himself blushing, the memory of what had gone between them earlier still singing through his young body. “Thank you.”

Donahue helped him into the carriage and he sank into the corner seat. Donahue sat down close beside him, the heat from his body startling in the confined space. The equipage jolted forward.

They journeyed in silence. Out the windows, Sebastian saw the town streets give way to a leafy park and then the countryside. “Where are we going?” he ventured.

“Somewhere comfortable.” Donahue turned to him and smiled. “We are close by, fear not.”

Sebastian nodded breathlessly and turned back to the window. He couldn’t deny he was afraid, but by far the strongest emotion he felt was exhilaration. He could not ignore the throb in his loins nor the quickening of his heartbeat. What he wanted more than anything was for Lord Donahue to touch him again.

Moments later, his need was answered. The strong hands he remembered so well clasped his shoulders, squeezing gently, then one traveled upward, caressing the back of his neck.

“Avon, my friend -- I hope I may address you as such? You seem nervous. Please understand, you have only to say the word and I will have the coachman turn around. You need have no fear.” Donahue’s eyes were sincere and kind, the predatory look replaced by a shadow of concern.

“Please,” Sebastian said in a low voice. “My friends call me Sebastian. I would be honored to count you as such.”

Donahue’s face relaxed into a wide grin, and the shadow lifted from his eyes. “I knew from the start that I liked you, Sebastian. My name is Adam, and it would please me if you would use it.” His grip tightened on Sebastian’s shoulders, drawing him forward and into a soft, questing kiss.

Sebastian reached for Adam eagerly, unclasping his cape and reaching for the strong broad shoulders beneath. Adam cradled Sebastian’s head in one hand, kissing him deeply, making a slow and thorough exploration of Sebastian’s mouth. Sebastian moaned as his body responded again, his heartbeat pounding the heat and pleasure through his veins.

Adam guided Sebastian’s hand to his own flesh, hot and swollen beneath his breeches. Sebastian gasped at the size of Adam in his palm, reveling in the pulsing warmth. Adam groaned and thrust, slow and shallow, into Sebastian’s hand.

Gasping, Sebastian broke the kiss, leaning his forehead against Adam’s shoulder. One-handed, he fumbled Adam’s breeches open, panting with anticipation.

Adam murmured something that might have been “please” into Sebastian’s ear, and Sebastian pressed him back against the seat. He lowered his head, inhaling Adam’s musk, then as the first creamy drop formed on Adam’s tip, he bent and lapped it off.

Adam bucked, crying out raggedly as Sebastian lapped again. The sour, salty taste exploded on his tongue, turning his bones to water and he threw caution to the winds. As Adam thrashed beneath him, he slowly mouthed his head, marveling at the silk on his tongue. Every movement stoked his own fire, reawakening the ache in his passage.

He dragged Adam’s breeches down and pressed Adam’s hips against the seat, slowly mouthing and sucking until Adam’s cries turned high and helpless. Sebastian raised his head and grasped Adam’s cock, now slick with saliva and pre-come and stroked him hard. With his other hand he palmed Adam’s balls.

Adam came off the seat with a roar, jets of come shooting from his cock and striping Sebastian’s coat. He fell back, pulling Sebastian on top, bucking and thrashing beneath him. Sebastian released him, whispering his name, and Adam went limp then slowly opened his eyes.

“I thought,” Adam murmured, “that you were new at this.”

Sebastian grinned and laid a kiss on Adam’s collarbone. “Perhaps I have a natural talent.”

“Perhaps you do.” Adam’s eyes sparked and he sat up slowly, then pulled Sebastian close. “However that may be, I would be delighted to help you hone your skills. If you would like to, that is.”

“I would like nothing more.” Sebastian smiled and leaned in to claim a long, smoldering kiss.

End.
