There are tons of resume books on the market today, but why not cut out the middleman and tell your clients what you think. Set up a website and have job seekers send in their resumes and a copy of the job they're looking to apply to. Give them your opinion on their resumes and let them know what they should change. Let's face it, resume writing is hard. There are so many ways to create a resume. Should you use bullet points? Is it better to write a job-based resume or a skill-based resume? Talk to them to find out what their responsibilities were and create a resume tailored specifically for them. Just be careful. You may take the heat if they don't get the job.
