“I have to go,” he stated in a clipped voice. “We’ll talk about this later.” The phone went dead in her hand.

She glanced up to see Ryan and Chris both looking at her with grim expressions. She looked down at her plate. Suddenly she wasn’t hungry anymore. Ryan took one of her hands, and Chris slid an arm around her shoulders.

“Don’t worry about it, Cadence,” Ryan said. “You told me yourself that Professor Milton said you were ready for your recital. I’ve seen your study schedule. You are a very dedicated student, and there is no doubt in my mind that you will be graduating with honours.”

“Ryan is right,” Chris said. “We promised not to keep you too busy until after graduation. There is just the one concert next week, and you know the material very well already. You’re going to make yourself sick if you worry about this too much.”

Their words made sense, but Cadence felt deeply ashamed. By the time Chris left to change and warm-up, she was feeling worse than she had been before. Ryan seemed to read her mood and wisely didn’t say anything more on the subject. He paid the bill, and they headed out to the theatre.

Cadence was impressed with the seats. They were in a box just off the stage and had an excellent view. When her father was announced, he strode onto the stage to loud applause. He bowed, and as he turned to take to the podium, his eyes met Cadence’s. His mouth tightened and before he started the piece, Cadence could have sworn he glared daggers right at Chris. Beside her, Ryan squeezed her hand.

The music was wonderful, and Cadence found herself relaxing a bit in spite of her worries. She had always been fascinated watching her father conduct. His presence on the podium was formidable, as it was in person. The orchestra was his instrument, and he played it with precision. At the end of the concert, Cadence joined the rest of the audience in a standing ovation. Her father smiled at the audience, and she thought perhaps he might be in a better mood. Maybe he’ll be ready to listen to me now, she thought and mentally prepared herself to see him.

Chapter 7

Cadence was standing in the reception room with Ryan at her side and a glass of white wine in her hand talking animatedly with Anna Jones, principal flutist of the Cambridge Symphony and Cadence’s first flute teacher. The woman seemed pleased to hear that Cadence was playing in Windswept. “I always told your father you had a gift,” she said fondly to Cadence. “I am looking forward to hearing the concert next week.”

“She’s amazing,” Chris said as he came up behind her. “Ryan and I are in awe of her.” Cadence blushed and smiled at him.

“Ah, Carl,” Anna said glancing over Cadence’s shoulder. “Cadence has just told me she’s joined these two in their trio. You must be so proud!”

Carl Bennett nodded at Anna but didn’t smile. “I’m just concerned for her studies, Anna,” he replied. “She can’t afford to lose focus now.” He looked pointedly at Cadence.

“With all due respect, sir,” Ryan said quietly, “Cadence is the most focused young lady I have met. Her dedication is obvious in her playing. And she was told today that her recital is ready.”

“She was?” Carl said, though it sounded more like a statement than a question. Then he glanced down and saw the wine glass in Cadence’s hand. “What is that?” he demanded.

“A Riesling, I’m afraid,” Ryan interjected. “And not a great vintage, but it’s hard to get quality at these functions.” Cadence bit her lip to hide her smile.

“You know how I feel about you drinking, Cadence,” he said. He tried to take the glass from her, but Cadence pulled back. He looked shocked. Hardly believing her daring, Cadence raised the glass and drained it.

Her father’s eyes grew wide with anger. “What the hell are you doing?” he hissed.

“Trying to enjoy myself,” Cadence retorted. “Papa, you try to control too much.” He opened his mouth to interrupt, but the wine had Cadence feeling bolder, and she stopped him. “No interruptions!” she cried. “You never let me finish a sentence!”

Carl wasn’t the only one staring in shock at his daughter. Those nearby had turned to watch when they heard her outburst. “Cadence, be quiet!” he said.

“No!” she shouted. “I am sick of being quiet! So you are going to listen to me now! I have worked my ass off all my life trying to be everything you wanted me to be. You’ve pushed and pushed, and I hate it! It’s time I started doing things because I want to do them. I want to be a part of Windswept. Chris and Ryan have been completely accommodating of my school schedule. You need to just trust that I can make decisions for myself now!” Cadence’s voice had risen steadily, and she became aware of everyone in the room looking at them now.

Carl Bennett stood staring at his daughter in shocked silence. His eyes were blazing, and he opened his mouth to say something.

“Don’t bother, Papa,” Cadence cut him off before he could start. She set her glass down on a nearby table and turned to Chris. “Chris, I’m ready to go home now,” she said. The two men quickly moved up to either side of her and guided her out of the room. By the time they reached the car, Cadence had tears running down her face. She had never before stood up to her father like that, and she was regretting it now. She had let her anger get the better of her, and she knew that she had hurt her father. Chris pulled her into his arms and held her while she cried. After a few moments, she pulled back. “Let’s go,” she said quietly. Chris kissed her gently and helped her into the car before climbing in beside her.

Cadence spent Saturday practicing. She went through her recital pieces, and the three of them practiced for their upcoming concert. Then they began preparing for their dinner with Andrea. As Ryan set the table, Cadence looked down and counted the five place settings. “I’m not sure if we need five or six settings,” she said.

“Why six?” Ryan asked.

“Andrea and Tim will be here for sure,” Cadence said. “But recently James has been with them a lot. I don’t know if she plans to bring him or not.”

“Who’s James?” Ryan asked as he set an extra place.

“He’s Tim’s roommate, and they’ve kind of…” Cadence wasn’t sure how to end the sentence.

Ryan smiled. “Got an arrangement like ours?” he guessed.

Cadence nodded. Just then, the doorbell rang, and she went to answer it. Andrea had indeed brought both her men. She smiled at Cadence.

“I figured I wouldn’t have to try and explain having two boyfriends,” Andrea said.

“Yes, it seems to be catching on,” Chris said as he slid his arm around Cadence’s waist and kissed the top of her head. Cadence quickly made all the introductions.

Cadence gave Andrea a tour of the condo while the men discussed the hockey playoffs.

“I’m guessing you aren’t going to want to move in with me after grad,” Andrea muttered as she stared at the massive bathtub in Cadence’s bathroom. “How many people can you fit in that thing?”

Cadence laughed. “I haven’t used it,” she replied.

“Well, you need to,” Andrea told her. “Get both of your men in there with you.” Cadence smiled.

Dinner was lovely. Everyone seemed to get along very well, and Cadence couldn’t help a deep feeling of contentment after their guests had left and she and her men finished the dishes.

When they reached the bedroom, Ryan and Chris began undressing, and Cadence stood admiring the view. After both men had removed all their clothing, she led them into the bathroom. “Can we all fit in there?” she asked, pointing to the tub.

Ryan grinned. “I think we could,” he replied. Chris moved to turn on the taps and began the job of filling the monstrous tub.

“You’ll have to take off some of those clothes if you want to go in there,” Ryan said. He reached over and began to slowly unbutton Cadence’s blouse. When he reached the last one, he pushed it open to reveal her bra. He let his fingers trace along the edge of the cups, sending shivers through Cadence’s body. He leaned forward and kissed her. As his lips gently parted hers, his tongue delved inside to explore her mouth. She slid her tongue along his and opened her mouth to him. As they kissed, he slid his hands over her shoulders and down her arms, taking the blouse with them. He undid the front clasp of her bra, which popped open to leave her breasts exposed. Ryan closed his hands over them, gently stroking her hard, pink nipples. Cadence moaned softly. Ryan lowered his mouth to one of her breasts and began running his tongue around the areola, his touch light but so provocative. He undid her jeans and pushed them down over her hips along with her underwear. His hands cupped her ass. Moving his lips back up to her mouth, he kissed her again.

“Let’s get in the tub,” he murmured. Taking Cadence by the hand, he led her to the bath and helped her inside. He and Chris settled in on either side of her, and Cadence relaxed back into their arms. Chris produced a cloth and bodywash and began washing her. He circled her breasts repeatedly with the cloth, the rough material rubbing pleasantly on her nipples. He moved his hand down between her legs and rubbed her there having a similar effect on her clit. Ryan was kissing her again as she moaned in pleasure.

Chris took his hand away and stood up beside her. His huge dick was right in front of Cadence. “Suck my dick, baby,” he growled at her.

Cadence smiled and took him into her mouth. She swirled her tongue around his thick head and ran it up and down his shaft. He buried his hands in her hair and held her to him. He began thrusting in and out of her mouth as she sucked. Ryan stood up beside him, and Cadence took his cock in her hand and began to stroke the shaft of it. His loud groan told Cadence she was doing it right. Wanting to taste Ryan as well, she switched. Her head bobbed up and down on Ryan’s cock while her hand worked up and down Chris’s swollen member. Their cries pleased her. She was amazed that she could make not just one, but two men feel so good at once.

She was going to switch again when Chris pulled away. “Just a second, baby,” he murmured. Cadence watched as he rolled a condom onto himself and then returned to a seated position in the tub. “Climb on me, Cadence,” he instructed. “I want to fuck you while you suck Ryan off.”

Cadence straddled Chris and slowly sank down over his cock, her slick pussy making it easy. She cried out as she filled herself up with him. He grabbed her hips and held her still and began pumping in and out beneath her. Ryan was still standing beside her, and she grabbed his cock and wrapped her lips around it again, sucking in time to Chris’s pounding thrusts. She could feel the pleasure building up inside her again, the tightness in her belly telling her that a climax was near. She sucked on Ryan with vigour until he cried out, “I’m going to come!” He grabbed her head and held it still over his cock as he reached orgasm. His salty semen shot down her throat, and she swallowed around him, milking his balls. When he had finished, she pulled her mouth away and kissed the tip of him.

Cadence turned her attention back to Chris, who had continued fucking her through Ryan’s climax. “Your turn,” he said and reached between them to stroke her clit with his thumb. Cadence caught her breath at the intensity of the feeling. The stroking inside her and the rapid thumbing of her clit soon pushed her over the brink, and she screamed as wave after wave rolled through her. Her cunt spasmed around Chris’s cock, and he cried out as he found his release, too.

Cadence sat still for a moment catching her breath. Then Chris carefully lifted her off him and climbed out of the tub to clean up. Ryan helped Cadence out and lovingly dried her off. And the three of them tumbled into bed again.

Chapter 8

On Sunday, Cadence slept in for the first time in years. She had tried to get up, but the men persuaded her to stay in bed. When they finally made it out of bed, they practiced their trio material briefly and then each went to a separate room to practice their other material. Chris left for a concert that afternoon after making love to Cadence.

Cadence and Ryan enjoyed a quiet evening. They had a simple dinner together and watched a movie on the large-screen TV in Ryan’s bedroom. Then she made love with him before falling asleep in his arms.

The week went quickly, and though she had a lot on her plate, Cadence had never felt so relaxed. Andrea continued to joke that Cadence should have gotten laid years ago. Cadence was so happy that she didn’t really care.

“Andrea, I think I’m falling for them,” she confessed on Friday as they sat waiting for the men to pick her up.

“I can see that,” Andrea replied.

Cadence sighed. “I feel strongly for both of them. I thought I would end up preferring one, but that isn’t the way it’s happening. I just wish I could make love to both of them together. It always turns into a big suck and fuck,” Cadence said, embarrassed.

“Don’t be embarrassed,” Andrea said. “There’s nothing wrong with loving two men. And if you want to love them at the same time, you can do double penetration.”

Cadence stared at her friend. “How are they both going to fit in there at once?” she asked, shocked.

Andrea laughed. “You know, I have seen porn stars who could do that, but I meant one in your pussy and one in your ass.”

“My ass?” Cadence repeated. “How does that even work?”

Andrea sighed. “Well, you certainly need lots of lube for it, but anal sex can be very fun.”

“Have you and Tim and James…” Cadence couldn’t finish the question.

Andrea smiled and nodded. “Don’t knock it ’til you try it!” she said.

Cadence thought about what Andrea had said. The thought of having both her men’s cocks in her at once had her pussy clenching. Maybe it could work. She wasn’t sure how they’d feel about it though, so she decided to wait on it.

That evening after dinner, Cadence’s father called. Knowing she couldn’t avoid him forever, she answered the phone.

“Hi, Papa,” Cadence said.

“Cadence,” he replied. And then there was silence.

“Papa?” she asked, puzzled.

“I’m just giving you a chance to speak,” he said gruffly. “Apparently I interrupt too much.”

Cadence sighed. So mature, she thought to herself. “Windswept has a concert tomorrow night,” she started.
