"You are the sweetest one." He closes the door and walks around the car. I see him texting Steve anyway.

My phone dings and I look to see that Scarlet has friended me on Facebook. I see our "usie" picture already posted on her status along with a post about how I was 'a real live celebrity from Vegas.' She tagged me and Aurei.

Aurei gets in and cranks the car.

"Scarlet was in the line with Paul. She says she got some really cool videos on Vine. She put them on Twitter. #MrUntouchable." I laugh at that! "#FuckingCrucial! I like Scarlet. I hope she fucks Paul's brains out."

"I'm sure they will have a competition." He says as we circle the others cars parked here too.

"They'll turn into zombies for sure!"

"I can think of worse things to be than a sex zombie."

"Me too!"

Aurei's phone dings and he hands it to me to check the text. "Steve says my jacket isn't at the table." I read to him, then say again as I text Steve not to worry about it. "I have lots of jackets in all colors and styles. I won't miss it."

As we pull up to enter the highway, I check the traffic to the right while he looks to the left. "Not clear." A bright yellow Dodge Charger speeds up, but then slams on the brakes and turns recklessly into The Stallion parking lot. "Somebody's in a big damn hurry."

"Probably some Mama Grizzly coming to fetch Daddy Bear before the Baby Bears wake up. How's the traffic now, Sleepy Thang?"

"It's clear."

Aurei enters the highway and I watch as Ruth gets out of the yellow Charger. Her body language says she is still very angry. She slams the door and marches back to the club.

"It was a Grizzly Bear alright. Ruth-less. Looks like we left just in time."

"Yep."

"She still looks pissed off."

"Yep."

"She's going to be a problem."

"Nope."

"I can feel it in my gut."

"Your gut is just tired, Wild Thang." He says, completely dismissing my concern. He reaches over, slides his fingers between mine and cinches our hands.

"You're right. Paranoia comes with my business."

He brings my hand to his lips to kiss. "There is nothing we can't handle together."

"Truly!" I look at his beautiful smiling face lit by the dashboard lights. "I like the way you think."

"I Don't Mind" by Usher plays on the sound system.
