She was either going to be taken to the council for breaking the rules or someone would show up in her home. Glancing around her bedroom, she waited for what felt like an eternity. Meanwhile, Gage stared at her with a raised brow.

“Come back to bed, my little witch.”

It didn’t escape her that he’d added the ‘my’ in there.  What if she had somehow made the spell permanent by having sex and allowing him to mate her? What if he’d never know anything but fake love for her? This was so shit-tastic.

“I should have known better. Why didn’t I listen to my mother?”

Gage yawned. “Come here. We got lots more I want to do to your delectable body.”

Frickin’ hell. He kept talking hot sex and it made her forget that she’d fucked up.

“Look, Gage. You don’t really want me. This is all because of the love potion you drank from that wine glass.”

His eyes glittered and a loud chuckle dropped from his lips. Then another. And another. Until he was sitting there laughing at her distress.

“Stop laughing, you idiot! Don’t you understand? You don’t really want to be mated to me. That was the stupid love spell.”

What the hell had she done?

He got up from the bed. His nakedness managed to make her almost forget all over again that this was wrong. He marched to her, crowding her until her back was flush against the bedroom door. “I don’t know what love potion you’re talking about. There was no love potion in the wine I drank.”

She blinked. “Of course there was, I put it there. It wasn’t in mine. I would have smelled the magic. Plus it would have done nothing to me.”

He grinned, his hands moved up to her face to cup her cheeks. “The other wine glass had some weird sparkly stuff in it. I got rid of it and washed it before filling it with the wine from the bottle.”

So that meant...

He continued as if reading her mind. “I want you because I’ve wanted you since I laid eyes on you, my little witch. And now you’re mine.”

He lowered his head and captured her lips in a soft kiss. When he pulled back she was still trying to make sense out of what he’d said.

“Let’s go back to bed,” he said, tugging on the sheet she’d put around her body. “I’m hungry and the only thing I want to eat is your pretty pussy.”

Um, okay.

“But wait,” she said, allowing him to pull her back to the bed. “We hardly know each other.”

He licked his lips, his gaze roaming her face. “I know all I need for now. The rest we’ll figure out with time.”

Her mother would have a field day when she found out Selena had gotten herself mated to a wolf. Oh, well. At least she’d gotten herself a man that could fuck her brainless. There weren’t many that could do that.

“Come here,” he said, pulling her on top of him on the bed. “You’re mine, little witch. And we’re keeping it that way.” He drove his hands into her hair and tugged her down, pressing their lips together.
